December Winter Retreat: Sacred Pause – TWO SPOTS REMAINING

Honoring the space between endings and beginnings.

Give yourself the gift of deep rest and peace before the busy holiday season. As the year draws to a close, this is a heartfelt invitation to step away from the holiday rush and join us for a dedicated time of deep reflection, quiet stillness, and warm community in the mountains. Great for beginners and for more experienced folks to realign with their minds, bodies, and spirts.

  • Dates: Friday – Sunday, December 4 – 6, 2026
  • Teachers: Jackie Powell & Griffen Saul
  • Location: Blue Mountain Retreat Center near Harpers Ferry, WV – we will help organize carpools to/from DC area
  • Vibe: A warm, comfortable, well-stocked mountain home designed for deep rest.

The Vibe: Reflection, Stillness, Sound and Connection

  • Honoring the Pause & Reflection: Full body and mind practices designed to help you quiet mental chatter and find your center.
  • Mindful Movement, Sound & Learning: Enjoy 10+ hours of accessible yoga, meditation, and unhurried workshops. Sessions focus heavily on presence, intention setting, and deep sound healing featuring Griffen’s harmonium chanting and Jackie’s singing bowls and other instruments. All sessions are optional.
  • The Luxury of Time: On a weekend retreat, we do not rush. You get the space to slow down, breathe deeply, and genuinely absorb the mountain energy.
  • Nourishment, Connection & Rest: Enjoy catered, homemade, healthy meals. We will practice deep gratitude, thank the land and each other, and engage in mindful dialogue practices. In your free time, enjoy evening bonfires, s’mores, cozy indoor fireplace time, local trails, massages with Beth, or a stroll through the Harpers Ferry Olde Tyme Christmas festival.

Lodging

  • Shared Rooms: 2–4 single beds with shared baths. Perfect for friends!
  • Private Single Rooms: additional $50 fee, SOLD OUT (Contact us to join the waitlist for a private room).

Price & Sign-Up

  • Early-Bird Cost: $379 (includes lodging, meals, and sessions).
  • Regular Cost: Price increases to $479 after September 1.
  • Save Your Spot: Put down a $50 non-refundable deposit now. You must pay in full by September 1 to keep the early-bird

  • Cancelation Policy: We understand life happens. If your plans change, we are able to provide a full refund minus a $50 processing fee as long as we are able to fill your spot.
